How go to Soi Rang nam Bangkok, unlike Sukhumvit.

How go to Soi Rang nam Bangkok.
If you are looking for something a bit less trendy unlike Sukhumvit, sort of an east meets west kind of a venue, Soi Rang Nam is worth a try. And maybe the right place for you,it offers an enjoyable drinking and dining or just plain karaoke singing.
A by-pass road linking Phraya-Thai Road and Ratchaprarop Road,Soi Rang Nam has a friendly and open atmosphere that you could easily talk with anybody who is also out there for fun. It's easily accessible as it is close by the Victory monument,
But Soi Rang Nam is not as busy as the ones you see in Sukhumvit or Silom.Rather it's a simple watering hole for both foreigners and locals who just enjoy chilling out with freinds, and even with friendly strangers.
The place has pockets of pubs, bars,Karaokes, spa and massage with a variety of local and Issan cuisine practically in ever corner. You should in no time find new acquaintances in their al fresco restaurants or for a more gustatory adventure, try the mobile food stalls that are scattered throughout its 500-meter length.
               For a more formal setting,Water Bar,Classic Karaoke,Bangkok Music Restaurant,Malika Restaurant,and Neighborhood Caf? are recommended.
Normally, busy on Fridays and Saturdays, the soi is usually teemingwith locals and foreigners who hold residence nearby.Forget about sexy table dancers or romping hookers for they are nonexistent in this part of town.
But if you are someone who just enjoys drinking beer, eating with gusto with no cares of this world with a matching tete-a-tete on the side, you just found a perfect place in the city that never sleeps.
          How to get there.
BTS Victory Monument Station and use exit 2 Near the Century the Movie Plaza and don't forget to take note of the big sign that reads "Soi Rang Nam" written in both Thai and English. From Pratunam area, most of the buses will run pass Soi Rang Nam or simply take the bus number 140,38,77,13,17,54, or Taxi the best.
